Admission into Prime University, shall be open to all irrespective of nationality, race, gender, physical ability, religious or political affiliations. The University shall admit candidates into its programmes based on the nationally accepted minimum qualifications. All admission into undergraduate programes shall be through the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB). The requirements will depend on the following modes of entry.
Prospective candidates can either apply online or download the Application Form, from the university website, fill out and submit physically alongside qualifying certificates containing NECO, WAEC, JAMB, NABTEB and other relevant documents. Candidates who sat for their qualifying examinations in other countries abroad are also eligible to apply. JAMB results do not apply for foreign applicants who attended secondary school abroad, even if they are Nigerians. After filing the Application Form, online applicants should scan and attach their relevant documents before submission. Physical applications can be submitted at either of the two campuses of the university or at any of our partner schools within the Federal Capital Territory.

i) A candidate shall possess the Senior Secondary School Certificate (SSCE) issued by the West African Examination Council (WAEC), National Examination Council (NECO) or their equivalent with at least credit passes in five relevant subjects at not more than two sittings.
ii) The candidate shall, in addition, obtain an acceptable minimum score of 200 points in relevant subjects in the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) conducted by JAMB.
In addition to (i), a candidate shall possess a minimum of two ‘A’ level passes or equivalent in relevant subjects, or NCE or OND at a minimum of a credit level pass, or a first degree at the level of Lower Division of Second Class in a relevant field as the case may be. However, direct entry candidates shall be considered only after two years of commencement of academic activities at Prime University. In all cases, an ‘O’ level credit in both English Language and Mathematics shall be compulsory for all admissions into the University regardless of the course of study. All candidates will also go through the screening exercise to be conducted by Prime University before Admission can be granted.
The Remedial Program enrolls interested and qualified candidates all year round. The programme is targeted at secondary school graduates who desire to make up for their deficiencies in any of the national school leaving examinations. Candidates who wish to improve their previous performance in WAEC, NECO, JAMB, and NABTEB examinations, in preparation for enrollment into undergraduate programs in universities are eligible to apply. Applicants who wish to participate in the Remedial Programme are expected to have scored credits in at least four subjects in any secondary school leaving examination. The programme is mainly
residential and will be hosted at the Consultancy campus of the university, which is located at the old site of Nigeria~Ghana International College in Chibiri Village, Kuje. However, day students are welcome and will not pay for accommodation and other associated residential costs for boarding students. Tuition and other fees can be viewed from the appropriate section of this site.
Students of other universities wishing to transfer to Prime University, must satisfy all admission requirements for either the UTME or Direct Entry and present a transcript from the originating. In addition, such a candidate must have clean records of acceptable character and academic brilliance. The appropriate department as well as Faculty will make recommendations for the consideration and approval of the University Senate before such transfers are finally given effect.

Professor Moussa Mahamat Boukar is a globally accomplished scholar of Computer Science. He was formerly the Dean, Faculty of Computing and Director of Distance Learning and Partnership Programs at Nile University Abuja. During his twelve year stint at Nile University, he also held several other major academic and administrative portfolios with considerable capacity and diligence. A citizen of Chad Republic, Nigeria’s sister neighbour to the north eastern flank, Professor Boukar is one of Africa’s leading scholars of Computer Science. An eminently renowned researcher and administrator, he served in many other top leadership positions in various institutions and organizations around the world.
His education traverses North America, Central Asia and the former Soviet Union. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from International Black Sea University, Georgia, an MSc from International Ala-Too University, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, and a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Professor Boukar has authored over 70 research papers published in leading international journals indexed by Scopus and SCI, and has written two influential books. His award-winning research has been presented at 45 international conferences, which earned him 23 prestigious recognitions for its groundbreaking record.
Professor Boukar joins Prime University at a critical juncture in the institution’s foundation years. He is poised to provide the needed leadership, direction and guidance, which are critical in propelling the university towards realising it’s vision of preparing global citizens, who would graduate as professionals, statesmen and business leaders.
