The Prime University campus is a serene and solemn environment caught up in the beautiful lush~greenery of Dafara settlement of Kuje Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory. Although the campus is far removed from the city center, the scenic beauty of its environment and the characteristic ambience of a very receptive, accommodating and hospitable campus life, leaves visitors and parents in awe about how comfortable their wards will live and learn at Prime University. Classrooms, laboratories, dormitories and sporting facilities are world~class standard. The campus is driven by a wireless internet backbone across all academic and administrative buildings. Electricity and water supply are stable 24/7 all over the campus. Hostel facilities are very cosy and among the best in the country. While sports facilities, platforms and the whole recreational environment are largely competitive. Students meet regularly in classrooms, labs, dining area, during sporting activities, at worship centers and many more during on~campus activities, events and ceremonies. The university campus is indeed a replication of students’ home environment to make them really feel at home throughout the semester. There are a variety of shopping areas on campus from which students can easily access and purchase their basic needs. They are also free to reach out to the neighborhood of Kuje Township for more shopping opportunities, especially on weekends.

A world class cafeteria is in place on campus, which offers some of the best cuisine in town. It offers a variety of meal options three times daily ~ from African, Continental and a broad range of fast foods. Students can eat from any of the food facilities 24/7. They are also free to cook their meals as a cooking area has been provided. There are also other approved independent eateries around campus to offer added varieties to what obtains in the general cafeteria.

At PUA, high premium is placed on sports and recreational activities. Requisite Facilities and platforms to enhance sports and refractions are available. They include Football Fields, Basketball and Volleyball Courts, Tennis Courts and even a swimming pool is readily available for students. A gymnasium is also available to fill in the gap. Students who require training in some of the sporting and recreational activities have the opportunity to be mentored by experts in swimming, tennis, and more.

Prime University students come from all backgrounds, sensibilities and states of Nigeria. They live, study, eat, play and worship together in a friendly and largely accommodating interplay of solidarity and fellowship for one another, and mutual respect for their shared diversities. There are two main worship centers for Muslims and Christians. Students are free to visit bigger worship centers within Kuje and other parts of the Federal Capital Territory, especially during major festivities such as Sallah, Easter and Christmas. Our professors and staff composition is also a mix grill of the diverse sensibilities represented across all the States of Nigeria. Many live on campus and are always available to support the emerging academic and social needs of students 24/7.

The PUA campus is a fully gated and fully residential environment. Professionally Trained and Uniformed security guards are always on hand to secure the facilities and personnel on campus 24/7. All residential and academic buildings for students and staff are fully manned with security guards. The campus vicinity, which is always lit with electricity (public source and solar) 24/7 is also equipped with CCTV cameras. There is steady supply of water on campus for all needs.

To tackle fire emergencies and PUA facilities have been enabled with functional Fire extinguishers. It is an institutional priority to train Community members including students on how to utilize the Fire Extinguishers to tackle any unforeseen emergencies. In addition, a fire truck with trained personnel is also in place to respond to higher fires in case of eventualities.
At Prime University, Abuja (PUA), we believe that a student's environment directly impacts their ability to innovate. Our campus is built to be a "home away from home," providing the perfect balance between academic rigor and personal well-being.
Teaching of all courses at Prime University will be focused on career mentoring of students to enable them graduate with employable skills and competencies as professionals, statesmen and business leaders. Class attendance and participation are mandatory. Class participation by every student is highly encouraged and indeed considered as a critical part of the overall assessment. Students are also assessed in various other ways by their professors through class work, paper presentations, group assignments and projects, midterm tests, end of semester examination, career projects, etc. Midway into every semester, students in all academic programs will be required to independently assess their professors to determine their capacity, proficiency and success or otherwise in teaching and mentoring their students. Professors who score above average will be encouraged to double up their efforts, while those who fall below the average benchmark are least likely to continue with the university.

Prime University is a fully residential campus located within a very cosy and evergreen environment. All Students live in beautiful, spacious and comfortable hostels throughout the semester. Female hostel rooms are bigger and therefore can carry up to eight students, with very decently structured restroom facilities. Professor Moussa Mahamat Boukar is a globally accomplished scholar of Computer Science. He was formerly the Dean, Faculty of Computing and Director of Distance Learning and Partnership Programs at Nile University Abuja. During his twelve year stint at Nile University, he also held several other major academic and administrative portfolios with considerable capacity and diligence. A citizen of Chad Republic, Nigeria’s sister neighbour to the north eastern flank, Professor Boukar is one of Africa’s leading scholars of Computer Science. An eminently renowned researcher and administrator, he served in many other top leadership positions in various institutions and organizations around the world.
His education traverses North America, Central Asia and the former Soviet Union. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from International Black Sea University, Georgia, an MSc from International Ala-Too University, Bishkek in Kyrgyzstan, and a BSc in Computer Engineering from the University of Toronto, Canada.
Professor Boukar has authored over 70 research papers published in leading international journals indexed by Scopus and SCI, and has written two influential books. His award-winning research has been presented at 45 international conferences, which earned him 23 prestigious recognitions for its groundbreaking record.
Professor Boukar joins Prime University at a critical juncture in the institution’s foundation years. He is poised to provide the needed leadership, direction and guidance, which are critical in propelling the university towards realising it’s vision of preparing global citizens, who would graduate as professionals, statesmen and business leaders.
His leadership era at Prime University is being anchored on five strategic goals namely: 1. The pursuit of Academic Excellence, 2. Driving Innovation and Research, 3.
