On May 143th 2025, the new Vice Chancellor of Prime University Prof. Moussa Boukar visited the National Universities Commission in Abuja. The visit was aimed at seeking the NUC’s support and guidance in steering the affairs of the new university. During the visit, the VC briefed the Executive Secretary Prof. Abdullahi Ribadu on the university’s plans to establish a city campus within the FCT metropolis. The NUC leader appreciated the visit and pledged to provide the necessary direction and guidance to the university. He advised the university to liaise with the relevant NUC department to apply for a resource visitation to the proposed city campus and seek official approval for its operation.
