BSc. Information Systems

Information Systems – Undergraduate Programme Overview

Information Systems as an undergraduate programme focuses on the interaction between people, technology, and organizations. It involves the study of how information and communication technologies (ICTs) are used to collect, process, store, and distribute information for decision-making and operational efficiency. The programme combines principles from computer science, business, and social sciences, equipping students with technical and managerial skills to design and manage information-based solutions. It typically spans four years and leads to the award of a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Information Systems.

Students in this programme study courses such as systems analysis and design, database management, networking, business intelligence, cybersecurity, IT project management, and enterprise systems. The goal is to produce professionals who can bridge the gap between technology and business to support digital transformation and innovation.
