Dr. Mohammed Dada Ibrahim, MBBS, MSc

Biography

A distinguished physician and health systems expert with over 35 years of experience in clinical medicine, public health, and health project management. His vast expertise spans HIV prevention and treatment, maternal and child health, malaria, tuberculosis, and health systems strengthening.

He holds a Master of Science in Mother and Child Health from the University of London and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Over the years, Dr. Ibrahim has held several senior leadership positions, including Director of Health Systems Strengthening at Family Health International (FHI 360), Medical Director at Eastern and Western Hospital, Abuja, and Director of Medical Services at the Global HIV/AIDS Initiative Nigeria (GHAIN).

Dr. Ibrahim has worked extensively with national and international organizations such as USAID, CDC, DFID, and the Global Fund, contributing to policy development, program design, and the implementation of large-scale health interventions across Nigeria.

At Prime University, Dr. Ibrahim brings his wealth of experience in clinical practice, academia, and health management to lead the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences in nurturing the next generation of healthcare professionals equipped with both scientific knowledge and ethical values.
