Biography

Mr. Jiya is an emerging scholar in the field of Biochemistry, specializing in Pharmacology, Drug Discovery, Toxicology, and Medicinal Biochemistry. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Kebbi State University of Science & Technology, Aliero, and a Master’s degree in Biochemistry from the Federal University of Technology, Minna.

His research interests cut across medical biochemistry, industrial biochemistry, ethnopharmacology, drug discovery, and toxicology, highlighting his dedication to advancing knowledge and addressing health-related challenges through biochemical research.

Mr. Farouk is a member of the Nigerian Society of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, reflecting his commitment to professional growth and scientific collaboration. His career experience includes serving as a Graduate Assistant at the Federal University of Lafia (2017) and later as a Senior Class Teacher at Diamond Global Academy, Minna (2021), before assuming his present position as Assistant Lecturer in Biochemistry.

Through his teaching, research, and professional engagements, he continues to demonstrate passion for innovation in biochemistry and for mentoring the next generation of scientists.
